1. Who and what inspired you to write?

I have been a strong observer from childhood. I am highly imaginative person. With each interesting observation I associate imagination to fathom and grow. Imagination is a distinguished power which helps us see what is not seen and tell what is untold. I have been through various tough life experiences which I cherish and I feel that those challenges have been a boon to me . Whenever I experience something strange, sad or happy I feel like penning down my thoughts.

The imagination associated with the thoughts curves the path for a story .I vent out through writing short stories. I feel extremely satisfied when I write fiction short stories.  I am an ardent fan of Late Satyajit Ray and all his films are very close to my heart. I have grown reading his short stories . He is one of the reasons I write. Each story has something to say and something to decipher for the reader. Honestly my life has inspired me to write …...

2. What challenges did you face while writing and getting published?

After writing roughly about 20 short stories I decided to get my stories published. Unfortunately I had been rejected by all leading publishing houses . It was a struggle to get a good publisher for a long time till I came to know about Suhail and The Book Bakers.

 3.  How did you come to know about the literary agency THE BOOK BAKERS?

I came to know about  The Book Bakers from the internet and sent them my stories for consideration.

4. How did THE BOOK BAKERS help you and what would you like to say about them ?

The Book Bakers Family has made my dream come true. Suhail Mathur the lead of The Book Bakers has been extremely helpful to me in guiding the way forward for publishing my book. The creative team of people at Book Bakers has great talent to design fantastic cover pages which gels indigenously with the content of the book. My book’s cover page has been designed by them . They are a brilliant team helping budding debutant writers find their places in the literary world.

5. How do you see literary success for yourself?

Literary success to a writer comes from the readers. As many readers I can touch through my books I shall be obliged . Since each story is simply written on human experiences it will connect to the reader. Some have thrills, some have mysteries and some are conscience calls. I am keen to receive feedback on my work and would be delighted to have the improvements I can do in the future endeavors.

 6. When can we expect your next book?

Next year hopefully :)

7. Any message or tips for aspiring authors?

I would like to say to the  aspiring authors that be yourself always and try for yourself. Writing takes you to a seperate world and detaches you from the daily grind of life. Keep writing on subjects you are passionate about and keep trying to reach out to all the aids to get yourself published.
