AUTHOR’S BIO:

Abhishek Sinha is a passionate Indian storyteller whose fascination with the lives of people around him inspires the characters in his stories. An alumnus of IIT Delhi and ISB, Abhishek works in the tech industry and carries a deep love for books, movies, and cricket. By Hook Or By Crook is his debut novel, a thrilling crime story that reflects his sharp eye for detail and a gift for suspenseful storytelling.

1. Who and what inspired you to write?

I grew up watching movies and reading fiction novels, where some characters and events kept me thinking. After completing the movie/book, I’d ponder upon the specific parts and thought about alternate possibilities. That was my entry into the world of creating stories. Kept exploring that just for fun, and started coming up with my own short-stories slowly. By Hook or By Crook was also a short story initially, which grew into a full-length novel.

Inspiration almost always comes from the characters. I am very particular about characters in my stories, and people in general. Whenever I think of an interesting character or meet someone who I feel should be introduced to everyone, my mind jumps to think of a setting where this character will undertake a tale worth telling. I’ve always been a fan of character-driven books and movies like Godfather, Catcher in the Rye, The Guide, which take you into the character’s shoes, and I try my best to deliver the same to my readers, irrespective of which genre I am writing in.

2. What challenges did you face while writing and getting published?

Anyone who has been through the process of publishing a book, especially a fiction, will tell you how challenging each step is. While writing, you frequently get writer’s block, pitching to publishers is a nightmare for debut authors, and finally even when the book is out, it’s extremely difficult to reach the right eyes and convincing people to pick it up, now with OTTs coming up with new content every week.

Particularly for me, having no connection to the writing world, I was extremely lost and confused at each step in this process. It’s always important to have some mentorship in the journey, and I was lucky to have my publishing agent Suhail Mathur and The Book Bakers to help with tailoring the story rightly, finalising a publisher and finally marketing it the right way.

 3.  How did you come to know about the literary agency THE BOOK BAKERS?

Back when I was pitching my book to publishers, many of them came back with partnered publishing option which I strictly did not want to pursue. I was actively looking for either traditional publishers accepting manuscripts directly from authors, or a literary agency with significant industry presence. I remember reading a few blogs on the leading literary agencies and The Book Bakers appeared in almost all of them. Parallelly, I was frequenting bookshops to understand which traditional publishers get better shelf-space. There, I read The Book Bakers’ name on a few books and that triggered the memory of those blogs. I wrote a proposal email and fortunately got a positive response.

4. How did THE BOOK BAKERS help you and what would you like to say about them?

Despite being an author, I’m unable to express my gratitude for The Book Bakers team and Suhail in words. Being a debut author, I was initially very sceptical about every step in the process. Suhail was very professional and kind in explaining everything over a few calls. He was the one who suggested to make this a full-length novel and not a short story. Suhail also guided me on multiple points to improve the story. Finally, due to his immense efforts, I got multiple offers from traditional publishers. He even guided me in choosing the right publisher and is still mentoring me on promotions and other aspects. There’s no step in my journey where The Book Bakers has not played a significant role.

On a personal note, Suhail is extremely funny and interesting to be around. You won’t realize how fast time passes when you’re having a conversation. And I always wonder how he manages to represent so many authors while ensuring he gives personal attention to each of us, and still managing to have time for impromptu engagements.

5. How do you see literary success for yourself?

The reason I write stories is because of the interesting characters whose stories I want to bring to more people. The more people like the characters, the more successful I feel in my efforts. Having said that, there are four types of statements which make me feel extremely happy and successful.

First, when people come and say “Good to see you pursuing your hobby. I also want to pursue mine, should be doing it now”, I feel happy to motivate someone into pursuing their calling.

Second, when I hear “I want to write something, can you help?”, to find myself of some value, having been through this journey.

Third, when people say “I haven’t read anything in a while. Will get back to reading with your book”, feel happy to promote reading.

Fourth, when I hear “wow, you’ve killed it in By Hook or By Crook”, the best kind of satisfaction.

 6. When can we expect your next book?

I already have 5 stories in my head, all from different genres. Currently just taking some time off, before starting with one of those stories. But planning to start something within this month. Let’s see when it finds the light of day.

7. Any message or tips for aspiring authors?

I’d say three things to anyone aspiring to be an author, or are on their initial days:

  • Don’t move the goal post. Be happy with small wins.

  • Always seek help. You’ll be surprised to see how many people are willing to help.

  • Be patient. It may feel like you’re losing time, but trust the process.

All his writings can be found at : www.karanbhatia.substack.com
It was simply the need to tell a compelling story that many people like him would be able to relate to, that motivated him to pen down his second novel, “The UnBurn Desire”. It is a contemporary fiction novel with the main theme revolving around the concept of life after
death.

1. Who and what inspired you to write?

My writing dates back to my primary school days, I ended up writing a poem in an on-the-spot poetry competition and won plenty of accolades for the same. The encouragement from my parents and teachers was what kept me going and I wrote about 60-70 poems in the next 4 years. And with a knack of continuously experimenting and challenging myself in the writing process, I graduated from poetries to short stories and then eventually full-fledged novels.

2. What challenges did you face while writing and getting published?

My first novel took 4+ years to get published and come out in the market. Being a novice, I didn’t know the process, the importance of “showing” rather than “telling” in a story, and the right kind of editing. Hence, I had to run from pillar to post to hunt for a publisher and indeed, it was a really tricky phase for me.

 3.  How did you come to know about the literary agency THE BOOK BAKERS?

I was referred to TBB by Kulpreet Yadav (renowned author and
actor) who coincidentally was also the chief guest at my first book launch, as well as by an acclaimed horror writer, Neil D’Silva.

4. How did THE BOOK BAKERS help you and what would you like to say about them?

The Book Bakers, helmed by the experienced Suhail Mathur is not
just a literary agency, it is more like a community of acclaimed writers, authors, and poets who are subject matter experts in their respective fields too. I pitched my book to Suhail during peak covid, when the markets were shut, people were scrambling to save their lives and the last thing one would have asked for is a new novel in the market. It was a precarious stage and yet, he assured me that the
story is powerful and we will place you with a good publisher.

I kept patient all this while and finally, after about 1.5 years, I got the big news from Suhail himself that not one, not two but three publishers have shown interest in my book. I was on cloud nine at that moment, and the way he congratulated me, the zing in his voice is still fresh in my mind. All I would like to say to TBB is, a heartfelt thanks for making me a part of this fantastic community, your love and passion for books is unparalleled, keep up the great work.

5. How do you see literary success for yourself?

Literary success for me can be defined in three ways :
Critical Acclaim: Positive reviews and critical acclaim from literary critics, scholars, and fellow authors is something that I am looking forward to. Having one's work celebrated for its originality, depth, or impact on readers can be highly rewarding.

Commercial Success: Achieving significant sales and widespread readership is a measure of success for me.

Impact on Readers: I’d consider the impact my work has on readers as the ultimate measure of success. Touching, inspiring, or changing the lives of readers through my writing is the most fulfilling thing for me as an author.

6. When can we expect your next book?

I believe in quality and not quantity, so I, as an author, want to take my own time to delve into a new subject before I finalize something. And it has to be something that is deep, hard-hitting, and impactful. So yes, the next book should be at least 2-3 years from now.

7. How has your experience been working with Locksley Hall Publishing?

My publisher Locksley Hall Publishing has been extremely swift and helped me navigate through the entire publishing process smoothly. Their prompt response, guidance, and support is something every author would crave for, and I am glad to have associated with
them.

8. Any message or tips for aspiring authors?

An author today needs to be not just a great writer, but an editor, a marketer,an influencer, and a self-critique too. He should understand what sells in the market, what will impact the readers positively, and how to build a brand for yourself. And last but not least, ample patience in this entire journey is a must-have for any aspiring author.

EXCHANGING WORDS WITH NITI KEWALRAMANI

NEWS OF BOOKS
AUTHOR’S BIO:

Niti Kewalramani was born and raised in Mumbai, India, and currently resides in Dubai, UAE. In her day job as a Counselor, she offers strategic advice, guidance, and application support to students exploring higher education options abroad. Her advisory boasts a global clientele, with acceptances to many prestigious universities. She has spent many nights and weekends working on her debut novel, Ties of Blood.

1. Who and what inspired you to write?

On the human relationship front, I have always been intrigued by how Indians
constantly juggle between two worlds. We straddle two sets of values-one more
aligned with Indian traditions and one asking for a reassessment of these
traditions. The story highlights that struggle. On the Corporate front, my inspiration came from my work.I worked in Executive search servicing the consumer goods vertical, and I was fascinated by how we, as consumers, are misguided by labels. E.g., I have family members who will buy anything that claims to be Herbal or Ayurvedic over everything that doesn’t. I have drawn inspiration from many such corporate stories to serve as the backdrop for TOB.

2. What challenges did you face while writing and getting published?

I initially had written a script of sorts that had to be converted into a manuscript. That was challenging in itself. Once I had completed the manuscript, I had no clue what to do or where to begin to get it published. I submitted my pitch desk as per the specifications to some publishing houses (the ones who said they were entertaining debutant writers and fiction genre) and waited.

3. How did you come to know about the literary agency THE BOOK BAKERS?

I did a simple google search and sent an email to Suhail who promptly
responded.

4. How did THE BOOK BAKERS help you and what would you like to say about them?

THE BOOK BAKERS read my manuscript and were very confident that it would
get published. I think that itself was extremely reassuring. Suhail Mathur was
very responsive and patient with all my queries and delivered on his promise.
Suhail is a very busy man but he takes the time to respond to all your queries.

5. How do you see literary success for yourself?

I would like to write more books and hopefully win some recognition! ( why not
?)

6. When can we expect your next book?

In 2 years

7. Any message or tips for aspiring authors?

You don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Focus on writing and leave everything else
to people who know the ecosystem - like THE BOOK BAKERS !

EXCHANGING WORDS WITH KARAN KUNAL

NEWS OF BOOKS
AUTHOR’S BIO:

Karan Kunal has a deep love for expressing himself through poems. He builds narratives through the manifestation of his own and others’ life journeys and experiences, which leaves people captivated and reminiscent.
A teller of tales, he formally started writing five years back and reveres when his readers come together to share his varied perspectives. Karan is an alumnus of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.

1. Who and what inspired you to write?

This collection of poems and prose titled “Breadcrumbs” transcripts my one-on-one with the self and questions life posed to me, which I in turn asked to no one but myself. This combined with a penchant to have varied perspectives and open-mindedness inspired and compelled me to start writing 5 years ago.

2. What challenges did you face while writing and getting published?

While writing has been a simpler and organic process, it was always a dream to have it out as a book in all its form and function. Being new to publishing, I didn’t have much of an idea on how to go about this. I always had my eyes on traditional publishing. So getting started with engaging the right literary agent and publishing house has been a meticulous job. But then it was all a process which led to the book being published.

 3. How did you come to know about the literary agency THE BOOK BAKERS?

I found about them on Hachette India website. I sent out an intro email and got into a quick call with Suhail Mathur.

4. How did THE BOOK BAKERS help you and what would you like to say about them?

The Book Bakers have been a guiding light in this journey. They have been realistic with the challenges that can come and have been a consultant to go past these challenges.

5. How do you see literary success for yourself?

A book for generations, a classic which I ultimately aim for. However in the short term, I would like the book to be received well, read and understood in all its elements. I would also like it to make way into lit fests and seen as a piece of art in the poetic world.

 6. When can we expect your next book?

It could be another collection of poems touching upon what it means to be humans in the cosmos or I might pick up a fiction. A fresh story in a crossover genre is what I want to take up.

7. Any message or tips for aspiring authors?
Write for yourself and then amaze your audience. You would be putting on a lot of hats, from being a creator to a marketeer. It’s a long, challenging but an extremely fulfilling journey.

EXCHANGING WORDS WITH RADHIKA ANAND

NEWS OF BOOKS
AUTHOR’S BIO:

Radhika Anand is a simple girl who loves interacting with people. She is a keen observer and that’s how she gets inspiration for her stories. Born and brought up in a typical middle-class family, brings earthiness in her writings. Radhika has always been an extrovert and participated in cultural events during her school and college days and won many accolades. She loves travelling with her cousins and explores new places and interacts with natives. She is also an avid reader and loves dancing. She is never short of spending time with her family and friends.
On professional front, Radhika is an engineering graduate and works as an iOS developer in a renowned IT company. Being technology geek is another aspect of her personality. Learning new technologies in machine language has been her latest passion. She lives in Chandigarh with her parents and brothers. Spreading love through stories is her motto. ‘Loved or Ruined?’ is her maiden venture.

1. Who and what inspired you to write?

It all started from secondary school of mine, my literary teachers were used to give unique topics to write articles and speeches on. This was from where I build up my interest in writing. I would mention my teachers as my inspiration, who made me this capable that today I could narrate the story to all the readers like you. I remember in 10th standard I wrote a poem for my cousin on his birthday and my family loved it! That day I had a thought what if I write a book someday but then another thought pinged my mind how it would be possible. I have a habit of talking to myself to find answers many a times, so did same that day and told myself that if you would not had the capability to write you never ever would had a thought to write a book. This belief then inspired me to find my first story and get it inked.

2. What challenges did you face while writing and getting published?

I consistently started writing in last year of my graduation, before that I was just searching the story. After graduation, I was left with no time to write because I got so engaged in my job, which was equally important. Then, there comes the COVID-19 when everyone was locked in their own houses for months and this was the best time to restart writing.
After completed writing the book the most challenging task was to find a publisher. Either to get it self-published or to find a traditional publisher, the dilemma was never less stressing. Thankfully I came across one of the blogs who mentioned to find yourself a literary agent who will get a publisher for your novel.

 3. How did you come to know about the literary agency THE BOOK BAKERS?

The same blog mentioned THE BOOK BAKERS as literary agents. I connected them via email. They accepted my book’s blurb and the process started to find the publisher.

4. How did THE BOOK BAKERS help you and what would you like to say about them?

They asked me to send few documents of book’s manuscript in order to find a suitable publisher. My manuscript was luckily shortlisted by 4 renowned publishers. They really did well for my book! Thanking THE BOOK BAKERS would not be enough as they gave me and my book the recognition. I would not have found myself a publisher all alone.

5. How do you see literary success for yourself?

Literary success for me is about being recognized and appreciated on the basis of author's work. When the storyline is applauded beyond expectations is what we can define as success in literary world. The overflowing response at book fairs and getting praised by audience moves me to write and thus, entertain wider audience with more stories.

 6. When can we expect your next book?

The next book is in process, I shall complete it soon and get it released by this year-end or coming New Year.

7. Any message or tips for aspiring authors?

Looking into my experiences and what challenges I faced, my message to all the aspiring authors is to be consistent. Despite your busy schedules and fully occupied day, take out some time to WRITE. It would never going to work unless you START writing. Don’t only wish to WRITE but also WRITE.

EXCHANGING WORDS WITH HUSNA

NEWS OF BOOKS
AUTHOR’S BIO :

A dentist by profession, Husna is a published author and poet with a PG diploma in journalism as well.
She is an avid traveller and photography enthusiast. She uses travel experiences and cultural immersion as an inspiration for her stories. Her fiction and poems often explore the human condition and its intersectionality, as a way of reimagining a more righteous world.
She has worked closely in relief assistance during the 2018 floods in Kerala, which has been an inspiration behind Red River Rising.

1. Who and what inspired you to write?

I was always an avid reader. I had begun reading at the age of 4 and fiction by age 10. Authors like Jane Austen, Louisa May Alcott and Charlotte Bronte made me curious as a child about the world outside my own. And then writers like Tolstoy, Dickens and Eliott furthered that curiosity. Writers like Rushdie, Roy and Phamuk lit the spark. Writers are often asked how we write certain stories. But the truth is, stories come to us, like an epiphany. We are just the medium.

2. What challenges did you face while writing and getting published?

Writing was never a challenge. Except for the occasional mind block, most often plots have a way of working themselves out. The biggest challenge was getting published. It was an endless cycle of sending email proposals that eventually get rejected or ignored. Thousands of writers and a dozen publishers. The ratio is totally skewed. This I feel is the biggest challenge facing writers.

3. How did you come to know about the literary agency THE BOOK BAKERS?

I was frustrated after knocking on several doors when I finished my first novel, only to be let down time and time again. That was when I decided I needed representation. At that time, there were only a handful of literary agents in India. After doing a bit of research, I zeroed in on The Book Bakers. I liked their work philosophy. Rest as they say is history.

4. How did THE BOOK BAKERS help you and what would you like to say about them?

It just took Suhail Mathur of The Book Bakers, a couple of months after I had sent the manuscript, to get accepted by Rupa Publishers. That was like a dream come true. He believed in my work and was convinced the novel was meant to go places. I am still awaiting its launch. My 2nd novel, Red River Rising with Locksley Hall Publishing was launched on Dec 30th, 2022. The team works meticulously and ensures that every manuscript they receive finds a home with a publisher.

5. How supportive is your publisher of your work?

The publisher was very supportive. We worked in tandem with the Locksley Hall editorial team every step of the way.

6. How do you see literary success for yourself?

Literary success to me is being accepted by my readers and critics alike. When my poems and stories resonate in the heart of another, that is when I would know that I have arrived. I aspire for that. A Booker Prize wouldn’t hurt either!

7. When can we expect your next book?

Very soon. The manuscript is already complete.

8. How has your experience being working with Locksley Hall Publishing ?

It’s been a pleasure working with Locksley Hall Publishing team. They were supportive every step of the way.

9. Any message or tips for aspiring authors?

Trust the path. Keep feeding your soul and write from that space. Success will come your way eventually.

My fiction got selected in an anthology, authored by Heena Priya, which was my very first professional writing attempt apart from my usual fb posts and notes. Eagerness increases when you taste success. No contradiction, I met some passionate young writers, who have always inspired and encouraged me to write. And that’s how I have so far contributed my writings in a few anthologies, e-magazines, and a short story book.

2. What challenges did you face while writing and getting published?

Writing a novel for the first time was an exciting but also challenging process. It came as a shock to me to discover just how difficult it is to keep on track with the writing. Everybody thinks they have a book in them, but it takes bravery, determination, and a little luck to get a book finished, edited, and published. Second, it was fear and self-doubt. Honestly, I always thought who would read anything I wrote? The last and hardest part was getting a publisher. I researched agents and publishers who might be interested in the romance genre, wrote query emails, and got lots of rejections. I learned that the truth in today’s disrupted book publishing market is that most traditional publishing houses want only non-fiction genres. But, the good part was that after struggling to find one, I got a response from “The Book Bakers” that made my writing journey, a smooth one.

3. How did you come to know about the literary agency THE BOOK BAKERS?

Suhail Sir and The Book Bakers were on my Facebook’s friend list from a long time. I used to get to know about the wonderful books that were getting published under the mentorship of Suhail Sir through the posts that were being shared.

4. How did THE BOOK BAKERS help you and what would you  like to say about them?

I am very much grateful to The Book Bakers who helped me in finding not just one but 3 leading publishers of the time. It was a bit tough for me to decide and choose to go with one. Suhail Sir and the team have been very much helpful from the beginning and have provided me with the best services they can provide.

5. How supportive is your publisher of your work?

Locksley Hall Publishing was very much supportive and professional from the beginning.

6. How do you see literary success for yourself?

For me, I feel writing a book doesn’t mean making money or becoming a bestseller. It’s all about appreciation and recognition.

7. When can we expect your next book?

In a year or so.

8. How has your experience being working with Locksley Hall Publishing ?

Working with Locksley Hall Publishing was a wonderful experience. They made my writing journey, a smooth one.

9. Any message or tips for aspiring authors?

My advice: NEVER GIVE UP! Don’t let anyone tell you that you cannot achieve your dreams. Start your first draft, no matter what.

A problem solver and an avid thinker, Sagar likes to make people uncomfortable with life-changing and thought-provoking questions.

He even launched his own signature course “Let’s Love Living” in 2020 that has impacted more than one thousand people so far. Sagar’s experience as a corporate employee, entrepreneur, and now a trainer, speaker, and mentor has provided fodder for many of the book’s concepts that will strongly resonate with his readers. He also believes that coupled with a passion to eat, pray, and love, life’s musings are best enjoyed when shared with others.

1. Who and what inspired you to write?

I guess I always wanted to be an author to share my ideas with the world. But there was one life defining moment that I actually haven’t shared with anyone yet.
I lost my father in Dec’2020. And after his passing, we were just going through some of his things and I noticed a diary where my father had written down random musings and I was curious. When I asked my mother, she said that my Dad wanted to write a book but never got to it because he was lost in the every day problems of life.
I don’t know why but since that day, the determination to write a book and get it out there doubled.

2. What challenges did you face while writing and getting published?

The biggest challenge I faced writing was when I realized that I am a good speaker but that didn’t necessarily mean I can be a good writer. Moreover, I wasn’t really someone who was into books (shocking, right). Till this day, I have read less than 5 books in my life and sometimes that limits you as an author. I then hired an editor to work with me and make the book more readable.
Once the book was ready, I was on the elusive hunt for someone to repreent me. That’s when The Book Bakers showed faith in me. Especially Suhail, I still remember had the first faith in my concepts and my book when I was trying to find an agent and I would never forget the reassurance he gave me when I spoke to him first.
The next and the most challenging thing was to find a publisher. Of course, it took a lot of efforts, lots of cold emails and a lot of faith to get the book out but I am really fortunate that Fingerprint! picked it up and of course to The Book Bakers who just handled everything so smoothly.

 3. How did you come to know about the literary agency THE BOOK BAKERS?

I think this was the easiest part of all. All I had to look up on Google was literary agents in India and every page had The Book Bakers in the top 5 in the list. When you see a name recurring in so many pages you know that they are right for you.

4. How did THE BOOK BAKERS help you and what would you like to say about them?

The Book Bakers and Suhail for me, first and foremost was the stamp of approval that I longed for as an author. You need to understand that I was a debut author in this big world of publishing and for someone to have faith in you, changes everything. You suddenly know that you can conquer that eventual battle of getting a publisher.
Of course, that was just the start. As and when I went ahead with my publishing journey, Suhail and the Book bakers constantly guided me at every step and told me how I could get better results.

5. How do you see literary success for yourself?

I don’t believe in the word “success”. Haha. I mean I do know that getting a book published by a traditional publisher like Fingerprint is one hell of an effort but would I call it literary success? I am not sure.
You see, I believe in the power of effort and I am just happy that this effort is bearing fruit. How it takes me further, I am just waiting for that chapter to open. 😊

 6. When can we expect your next book?

Once again, people might hate my answer but I don’t believe in setting deadlines for myself. So if you ask me when one can expect my next book, I don’t really have a definite answer. I believe in doing my best every day and seeing where it takes me. And yes, I am working on my second book but I do know that it’s a long way to go. Because I want to bring in a lot of research for this. Let’s see. If my readers push me more, maybe I will push myself to work on my next book more. 😊

7. Any message or tips for aspiring authors?

Nothing I say can help you. Hahaha. I can just say one thing. The day that you decided to put yourself out there as an author itself is a big one. Don’t look back, do your best.
I don’t know where it might lead you but you won’t be disappointed. 😊

EXCHANGING WORDS WITH JEENA R. PAPAADI

NEWS OF BOOKS
AUTHOR’S BIO :

Jeena R. Papaadi is an engineer, a mother and the author of 6 books. Her short stories have been published in several anthologies. Jeena works for an NGO, and lives in Bangalore with her husband and son. She is on social media as @jeenapapaadi.

1. Who and what inspired you to write?

I used to write from my teenage but never thought of myself as a ‘writer’ or even considered becoming an author. I wrote without thinking about its prospects and did not show it to anyone. More than ten years later, though I began to take writing more seriously, the idea of getting any of it published never crossed my mind until my father, reading my story one day, made the suggestion.

2. What challenges did you face while writing and getting published?

Managing writing along with my job and personal life, and maintaining a weekly schedule for writing, were not easy, and many a time I would be too exhausted to return to it. My family supported me and gave me the space to write.
When it came to publishing, I struggled a great deal, wandering in the dark, querying publishers and agents, and waiting, without receiving any positive response.

3.  How did you come to know about the literary agency THE BOOK BAKERS?

In 2019, I watched an inspiring interview with Mr Suhail Mathur, live on Facebook. Suhail has an open, appealing way of speaking that by the end of that interview, I knew I was going to submit my book to him.

4. How did THE BOOK BAKERS help you and what would you  like to say about them?

The Book Bakers have guided me at every juncture. I appreciate their support and advices.

5. How supportive is your publisher of your work?

Very.

6. How do you see literary success for yourself?

I just want to keep writing. I have a lot of ideas in mind, for short stories and novels. As long as I can keep pace with my thoughts, and manage everything else in life along with my writing, and if I am happy with the end result, then that should be it.
If others like my books and if they reach more people, it is a bonus.

7. When can we expect your next book?

Hopefully in another year or two!

8. How has your experience being working with Locksley Hall Publishing?

They are quite professional in their approach.

9. Any message or tips for aspiring authors?

There is no easy way. There are usually no short-cuts. Keep writing even when you don’t want to, as much as you can. There will be days when you want to give up. Take breaks and make sure you come back to your writing table without allowing a long time to pass.
